What We Do

Since 2023, Calm SEAS – Special Education Advocacy and Supports has worked to bring clarity, balance, and confidence to the special education process for both families and schools.

We support families by translating complex systems, helping them understand their rights and options, and preparing them to engage thoughtfully and effectively in educational decision-making. We support schools by offering consultation grounded in collaboration, compliance, and best practice, with the goal of strengthening student-centered systems and sustainable supports.

Our work is rooted in clear communication, evidence-based practices, and respect for the roles of all team members. 

Whether guiding families through evaluations, IEP development, transitions, or partnering with school teams to refine processes, documentation, and service delivery, Calm SEAS focuses on reducing conflict, increasing understanding, and ensuring that students receive meaningful, legally sound educational plans aligned with their individual strengths and needs.
